Once In A Lifetime Sessions is an original and unique music documentary series giving viewers the chance to get up close and personal with a specially chosen selection of today’s most celebrated music icons – including Moby, TLC, Nile Rodgers, Noel Gallagher, George Ezra, Kasabian, One Republic and Snow Patrol. Filmed on location at some of the greatest studios around the world, the Sessions highlight the craftsmanship, artistic depth, incredible skill and talent of the artists whilst also showcasing their catalogue. Each episode is dedicated to a single artist or group and features both an intimate live performance and a vinyl recording session. These are woven together with exclusive interview footage and a masterclass exploring the stories behind some of the most memorable songs of all time.

As one of the few artists with a debut #1 album, selling over 3 million copies, George Ezra is one of the most exciting singer/songwriters around today. Once In A Lifetime Sessions with George Ezra sees him reflect on his journey from performing at local open mic nights to playing the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury; why he set up his own podcast, featuring famous musical guests including Ed Sheeran and Elton John, and how Swedish duo First Aid Kit ended up contributing vocals to Saviour.

In Once In A Lifetime Sessions with Kasabian, the serial-festival headlining, multi-award winning band discuss their incredible success and how they've managed to achieve an astonishing five consecutive #1 albums in the UK. From their early days at school to a career-changing moment at Glastonbury, Kasabian reflect on their desire to bring people together with their music and their meteoric rise to becoming one of Europe’s best loved bands.

In Once In A Lifetime Sessions with Noel Gallagher, the legendary songwriter travels on a journey back to his early days as a member of ground-breaking rock band Oasis. From their very first gig at the local Boardwalk club in Manchester, to meteoric sell out shows at Knebworth, attracting over 125,000 fans a night, Noel reflects on the hectic lifestyle that unfolded alongside the rising success of the band and his subsequent solo career as front man of Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds.

Not only has Nile Rodgers mastered the art of producing, song writing and composing – he’s also the lead guitarist and co-founder of the greatest ever live dance band, CHIC. Once In A Lifetime Sessions with Nile Rodgers sees Nile discuss the passion and faith he holds for his music which lead to the rise of CHIC, the careful politics of working in a recording studio and his relationship with legendary bassist Bernard Edwards.
In this Session Nile performs live on stage, with his legendary band, CHIC, in London, raising the roof with classic hits including I’m Coming Out, Dance Dance Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah), Le Freak, Lost in Music, We are Family and freestyling while ending the show with an audience immersive medley take on Good Times / Rapper’s Delight.
In the vinyl recording session Nile lays down new versions of some of his most iconic songs; Everybody Dance, I Want Your Love, Good Times and a rendition of Let’s Dance, a track he famously produced for David Bowie. Delivering a masterclass, he deconstructs classics, Everybody Dance and Good Times, as well as discussing his hit collaboration with Daft Punk on Get Lucky, giving a fascinating insight into the inner workings of a modern day musical genius and providing a truly once in a lifetime experience for fans new and old.
